Setting

Our new location is in San Francisco’s quaint Cow Hollow area, just a few steps from Union Street. We are on the second floor of a small and welcoming house-like building with lots of sunlit windows and clean, child-friendly amenities. You and your child will be warmly greeted and given ample opportunities to ask questions and connect with our therapists. You will feel involved in your child’s treatment and we will do all that we can to put you and your child at ease.

Depending on what type of appointment you have and when you arrive, you may see other families or children coming and going or participating in one of our group programs.

Individual

Just Kids Learning Center begins individual treatment programs with a comprehensive assessment that includes both formal and informal measures. This initial appointment is approximately 60 minutes in length. During this initial meeting, a licensed and certified speech language pathologist or occupational therapist will carefully evaluate the child’s individual communicative needs. Following this evaluation, a personalized plan of treatment is designed by our team of experts and implemented by the therapist ideally suited to your child’s needs.

Group

For our social group sessions (playgroups and social awareness groups), children are comfortably observed in a small group to determine social skill level during peer interactions. After this initial meeting, children are placed in age appropriate groups that will best fit their needs.
