Lisa Lombardi Hielscher, MS OTR/L
Lisa graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and dance. She received a Masters of Science in occupational therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, before relocating to the Bay Area. Lisa has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including school, hospital and early intervention, and she is experienced in addressing fine-motor delays, visual-perceptual skills, sensory integration disorder, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders and developmental delays. Lisa is trained in neurodevelopmental handling techniques by Lois Bly, and in the Vestibulo-Auditory-Visual Triad by Mary Kawar. She has also participated in feeding workshops by Kay Toomey. Lisa enjoys working with children of all ages and skill levels and believes strongly in child and family centered therapy sessions. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
