Lauren Cashel MS, OTR/L

Lauren graduated from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She received a Masters of Science in occupational therapy at the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles. Before coming to Just Kids Learning Center, Lauren worked with both adults and children in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, and private clinics. Most recently, she worked at a sensory clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, and with elementary schools in Marin County. Lauren specializes in addressing sensory processing differences, fine motor development, visual perceptual skills, visual motor coordination/integration skills, functional coordination/strength training, vision therapy, self help skills, and school readiness skills. She has worked with children with autism spectrum disorder, regulation and sensory processing differences, Down syndrome, visual deficits, and developmental delays. She is trained in Handwriting without Tears, Brain Gym and neurodevelopmental handling. Lauren is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
